Zao0 What can i say other that this is probably my favorite album of 2023 so far and my favorite from this band. Perfect mixture of filthy crust/hardcore rage and contemplative post-black atmosphere. A masterpiece. Favorite track: Optograms of Disgust.

s/he knows Delivered as always. The songs are perhaps a little more compact, but certainly no less intense. Once again, the band has set ‚Downfall‘ to music with sublime beauty, fury and consistency. Favorite track: While Bloodsprings Become Rivers.

Darknight AMAZING!!! Downfall of Gaia have just produced one of the if not the album of the year 2023, I mean this band take no prisoners and they just punish the listener into submission with there formidable blackened post metal soundtrack of unstoppable atmosphere. No one can touch these guys, can't even come close, this album is a freaking masterpiece. Favorite track: Eyes to Burning Skies.

David Fischer I am always keen for more Downfall of Gaia, but I was not ready for what Silhouettes of Disgust would offer. The immaculate keyboard layers, the stellar production, the multi-faceted vocals, the sudden crust and the impeccable riffs are only some of the record's many highlights; the most outstanding one for me is Unredeemable. There is something about this song that breaks me, making me weep bitterly and laugh uncontrollably simultaneously, resulting in a cathartic experience. My #1 album 2023. Favorite track: Unredeemable.
