This is a trip, plain and simple. You choose which type (LSD, or what not) but it is TRIPPY !!! Saxophone ? wow at first I was like WTH, but then, and then again, I really come to like this. One of those albums I needed to listen to many time, as it grows. It was not love at first hearing, for sure.

Completely agree that the varied textures and the use of non-traditional instruments are what make this album so special. I’m ashamed to admit it, but it took Johannes’ Final Light side project to finally turn me into a Cult of Luna fan. This would’ve done the trick if I’d bothered to listen.
